Kjetil Nordin

Norwegian, from Hjelmeland. Lives in Denmark. Systems developer by profession, competitive skydiver by weekend — with a shelf of gold from Norwegian and Danish championships and starts at world level. Crocheting for more than twenty years.

The combination confuses people, but it shouldn't. Formation skydiving is precision under pressure: exact grips, exact timing, at 200 kilometres per hour. Crochet is the same discipline with the clock removed — exact stitches, exact counts, for eight hundred hours if the piece demands it. Same craft, different speeds.

The proof is in the work. A blanket that took six and a half years because it had to be right. A week of stitches undone over one wrong shade of blue. Nothing here was made quickly, and it shows.

Start with the Mario blanket — it explains everything.
